obs profile cookies folder

Good morning,
I was checking my disk space and noticed that the folder "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser\obs_profile_cookies" is about 500 MB in size.
Inside it, I found very old files, even from 2023.
Now I'm wondering:
1) What's this folder for?
2) Can I delete its contents, or will I mess it up?

Is there a way to safely empty this folder from OBS?

cookies, the same as any browser would have. 500mb is not much space at all but you can delete them if you want.

½ GB is not much? it's too much… where's our button to clean it up? My folder is 1½ GB, some of it so old, really we need an ability to clean this up properly.

there is nothing preventing you from deleting the files.
