OBS MIC PLAYBACK ISSUE

If Monitoring is off (and it really is, without having overlooked something), then it's not supposed to do that.
Are you sure it's OBS and not some other app that happens to be open too?
Maybe a Windows setting, which would mean that it's constant regardless of OBS or anything else?
 
no its not a window setting, I checked. It only happens when I open OBS, Microsoft teams audio device works fine. It's strange it just happened after I was adjusting my stream overlay the other day. Don't know what triggered it and don't know how to fix, any ideas??
 
What happens if you create a new scene collection? Does the new blank one still do it?

That's really just a fast way to get rid of everything and start fresh, and you'll still have the old one to switch back to.

Nope the new scene selection works just fine. Thanks for the help I am good now!
