Wow, I expected someone might respond with help or a clue, but I had to work it out by myself, going through a lot of very difficult source manipulations and the (for me) hated transform edits and drags that never work. In my Mac I had to figure out how to have two windows open at the same time (my OBS AND the Browser URL source). It is hard as hell to record clips from TikTok video posts anymore. I can never get enough of the full vertical screen to include captions. They're almost always cut off either partially or completely at the bottom, and that sucks. I can still avoid that two screen nonsense when I use Windows and its "legacy" Window Capture source. Unlike almost everybody I see recording clips, I always include the originator's handle and attribute their creation. I feel this is all about copyright hyper panic, but if that's the case, there are many more direct ways to address that concern. I say that as a lawyer who respect others' work. No software provider (in my opinion) needs to paly nanny, although Microsoft, Google, and Apple have all gone way off the deep end when probably only they have the capacity, money, and armies of lawyers to withstand SLAPP lawsuits.
