Downstream Keyer

Downstream Keyer 0.4.4

Running 0.4.4 and have found the keyer still displays scenes on excluded scenes. Could this be a bug?
I believe the excluding logic only applies on a scene transition. When you switch to an excluded scene, the key goes away, but nothing prevents you from putting it back while still on that scene.

If that's what you're seeing, I'd call it a feature and not a bug, because it allows for a near-immediate recovery from a mistaken configuration, that a lot of the audience won't even notice at all.

Ah! I see. Thank you very much.

This plugin appears to have broken in the latest OBS update 32.1.0 for macOS. I'm getting the following error when I launch. I have installedd the latest version as of March 22, 2026.

Hey there,
I just took a three-week break from streaming, and now that I’ve updated everything, OBS suddenly shows a bright haze over the screen when the downstream keyer is enabled, which also spreads to the output. I’ve attached two screenshots for comparison. As soon as I disable or uninstall the downstream keyer, the problem goes away. I’ve already completely reinstalled OBS and even Windows (though that was because I was also having BSOD issues, which are now resolved), and I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Downstream Keyer multiple times, both automatically and manually. I’ve attached both logs, one with and one without the Downstream Keyer.
And ignore the state of the chair xD
